The Hochstein, also called Sibyllenstein (Sibinnen-Stein, Sibillenstein or Sybillen-Stein), Upper Sorbian Žiwiny, is a 449-metre-high mountain in Upper Lusatia in the Saxon district of Bautzen. It is the highest elevation in the Northwest Lusatian Uplands and the highest mountain in Upper Lusatia north of the A4.

The ascent to the tower 1.,- p.E. It's worth it for us, great view from the tower. Next to the tower also a public toilet. Good refreshment possible in the restaurant.

Decent increase that is dragging on. Oncoming cars and cyclists as well as branches and stones on the road don't make it any easier. Still a good challenge and in the end you will be rewarded with a good view.

The Hochstein is with its 449m, the highest elevation in the north-west Lusatian highlands. from Luxenburg (next restaurant) but also from Rammenau; Steina or Elstra can be easily reached on foot. But it should be sturdy shoes on this tour. A legendary summit stone which is also called a religious place of worship.
