The Carolinenturm on the Kötsch is a very popular destination. It is one of the three towers of the Thuringian Three Towers hiking trail and also a stamping point for Touringen (No. 345). The Bismarck Tower at the height of the “Tatzend” or Malakoff at 329 meters above sea level is a mighty and impressive circular building. The restaurant is just right after the crisp climbs. The tower is a highlight and beautiful.
