Situated in a lake, Brennhausen Castle has a special charm with its two dominant Gothic residential towers. The oldest parts are said to date back to the 13th century.

Veste Heldburg - a trademark in the landscape. Nice to look at and located high on the hill above Heldburg.

The castle really looks wonderful! It is still inhabited and is probably still owned by the Baron von Bibra family. The family grave is not far from the castle in the forest. You also have a good view of the castle from the grave.
