It's not only worth walking across the Devil's Rocks, but also off-trail on the eastern side below the moss-covered rocks. For me, it was a short and interesting detour from the weather cross via the rather uninteresting Devil's Rocks. The highlight for me was the return journey eastwards below the rocks, off-trail, around and over the scattered boulders.

The climb to the Rehberg Tower is worthwhile. The 14 m high octagonal tower was built in 1862 from the region's colored sandstone. It stands on the 567.8 m above sea level.
