Despite several changes of management in recent years, they haven't found anyone here who can cook. Drinks are great and idyllic. But several attempts to eat have failed. The quality is poor and the prices are completely exorbitant. One plus point are the beers here – a great and constantly changing selection.

The Steigerweiher (also called the upper Pfrimmweiher) is one of four Pfrimmweihers. The other Pfrimmweihers are (in the direction of flow): the Krebsweiher, the Mühlenweiher (lower Pfrimmweiher) and the Hetschmühlenweiher (with campsite/vinothecary). Beautiful lake in the forest, with ice cold water, as the name suggests. You can swim here in summer, but your four-legged friends are only allowed in certain months (nature and bird sanctuary). There is also a great fish farm and gastronomy. Some circular hiking trails start from there.

The Retzberghütte, located on the Sippersfelder Weiher lake, is less than 1 km from a large parking lot, and the path around the lake is wheelchair accessible. The hut also has a horse parking area and a boules court. It's a very peaceful place.
