Despite several changes of management in recent years, they haven't found anyone here who can cook. Drinks are great and idyllic. But several attempts to eat have failed. The quality is poor and the prices are completely exorbitant. One plus point are the beers here – a great and constantly changing selection.

The Ungeheuersee in the Leininger Sporn, part of the northeastern Palatinate Forest, is a shallow pond that is fed by the Krumbach. The lake has been protected as a natural monument since the 1930s. It has been listed in the official register since 1971 with the list number ND-7332-195. Beautiful lake in the forest, with ice cold water, as the name suggests. You can swim here in summer, but your four-legged friends are only allowed in certain months (nature and bird sanctuary). There is also a great fish farm and gastronomy. Some circular hiking trails start from there.
