Great destination between Leistadt and Höningen. Small indoor area, large outdoor area with a small schnapps hut .... which invites you to hut evenings in winter, the campfire and the offered grill specialties round off the whole thing. Great PWV hut, great refreshments and very good food at relaxed prices. Even in summer you can still get a nice seat. The hut itself is ideally located for both hikers and cyclists. Always a great stop for me on a larger tour.

One of the most beautiful places in the northern Palatinate Forest! The ascent can be exhausting but it is worthwhile in any season and in fine weather anyway a must! The view from up there is really nice !!! Most of the weekends, the hiking hut is managed directly under the tower.
