Great location and definitely a great ambience for a wedding

Getting married in an extraordinary setting is trending. No one wants to get married in a cold, impersonal "office" like those often found in registry offices anymore. In Argenschwang, a wonderfully romantic atmosphere awaits the bridal couple. In the reconstructed gatehouse of Rosenburg Castle, they can exchange vows in the tastefully furnished wedding room of the Rüdesheim municipal registry office. Rosenburg Castle in Argenschwang was built in the 12th century by the Counts of Sponheim. It was first documented in 1195. Of the hilltop castle, situated at 295 meters above sea level, only the gatehouse, dating from the 17th century, remains completely intact. Weddings for parties of up to 25 people are possible in the fireplace room of the restored gatehouse. Unfortunately, not much remains of the ruins

Founded around 1000 and first documented in 1127, almost nothing remains of the ancestral seat of the Counts of Sponheim, apart from the 22-meter-high keep from the 13th century, after the castle was destroyed by Spanish troops in 1620.

When you see the walls of the castle, you might not want to go up either. There is a small circular path around the castle with several resting places
