The present ruins of the summit castle are located on the summit of the 644 m high Hohenkrähen ("Krayen"), a mountain of volcanic origin north of Singen in the Hegau, between the villages of Duchtlingen, Schlatt unter Krähen and Mühlhausen in the Duchtlingen district.

On nice winter days (especially weekends) there is a lot going on due to the nearby ski lift. Then you have to be there early or look for another destination!

Great view in all directions. You can see Lake Constance, the Feldberg and the foothills of the Alps. In the immediate vicinity you have a good view of the Hegau volcanoes.
