The castle actually has a website: https://www.burg-yburg.de Perhaps there is more information here about when a reopening can be expected - the last information was "summer 2023" - which is now almost over. (There is still a castle at the outermost gate)

Very nice photo motifs in the castle and on the tower you have beautiful views of the Rhine plain and as far as the Vosges. The staircase in the tower is steep and narrow.

Lindenhaus Castle and the surrounding area in Sasbach's district is a sight in the midst of an idyllic landscape. An information board by the von Harder family with references to St. Petersburg and the Russian Tsarina Catherine is particularly worth reading.
