The view is wonderful, but you hardly need the hearing amplifiers because you can hear every noise very clearly from the "valley". I was there in early fall. The play of colors is simply wonderful.

This 30 meter high steel construction has stood on the Duhamel spoil heap since 2016 to commemorate the several hundred year history of Saarland mining. It also serves as a viewing platform and is freely accessible. The panoramic view is very rewarding.
