Hesse's longest wooden bench at the Waldsee in the Taunus Mountains is a truly superlative highlight – charming, rustic, and a perfect place to unwind.

This is where the Wisper River rises. The Wiper Valley winds its wild, romantic way to Lorch, where it flows into the Rhine. A very beautiful route, also for cyclists. But only during the week. Motorcyclists flood the route on weekends ;-)

The highest elevation in the western Taunus Mountains. The old postal road to Wiesbaden passes through here.
