The cliffs in the west continue to change shape and color over the years. It is partially covered by vegetation. But the slanting bands of the various sand deposits can still be clearly seen... The cliffs provide living space for sand martins. But wind and waves also cause erosion of the cliff, whereupon the removed material is moved along the beach 😏...
