A really great starting point for day hikes or bike tours. Lots of hiking tips already on the board at the house. A huge parking lot with barbecue facilities.

Very nice cabin, in the middle of the forest on the Westweg. A very large bench and weather station are right next to it. Not far away is the Sausenburg ruins.

There are three information boards providing information about different grape varieties. The water reservoir with a viewing platform right next to it, as well as the hut, are now (as of October 2023) cordoned off due to frequent vandalism. The associated keys can be borrowed from the municipal administration.
