A fantastic observation tower. Although it's not that tall, it feels massive. The wide viewing platform offers a good view of the surrounding area. There's also an information board and a small rest area with a table and garden benches.

The restored train carriage is now an important part of the memorial dedicated to the victims of the camp. It symbolizes not only the cruel transports, but also the suffering of the people who were forced to do forced labor in the Mittelbau Dora camp. The carriage reminds us of the injustice that the prisoners suffered and calls on us to keep the memory of this dark time alive. In the midst of the silence of the place, the carriage becomes an impressive memorial that shows us the cruelty of National Socialism and reminds us to deal with history responsibly.
