Gommersheimer Ganerbには、私たちの地域ではユニークな文化財である、主に東ヨーロッパで一般的な引き上げ式の井戸があります。Gommersheimではかつて「Kuhbrunnen」（牛の井戸）と呼ばれていた、独特の昇降装置を備えたこの井戸は非常に古く、付属の砂岩の水槽には1574年の年号が刻まれています。 この井戸は何世紀にもわたり、主にGommersheimの人々が村から約3キロ離れたGanerbで家畜を放牧していた際の、水飲み場として利用されていました。19世紀に畑や牧草地が造成されると、農民はこの井戸で家畜の飼料用の動物に水を供給し、自身の喉の渇きも癒すことができたでしょう。

According to the information board, the fallen soldiers of the Battle of Speyerbach on November 15, 1703 were buried here in several mass graves by the farmers of the surrounding villages. Other stone crosses are said to have been erected in the neighboring communities for the same reason.
