The main square in Enns is the historic center of Austria's oldest town and is dominated by the striking 60-meter-high town tower, the town's landmark. The town of Enns was one of the first towns in Austria to have a town hall. Over time, it was located in three different locations. Today's town hall is a building from the 17th century with a mighty round bay window. The facade facing Mauthausnerstrasse has eight axes and is just as magnificently designed as the five-axis front on the town square.
