The lake is a dream. Many bays around let everyone find their place. Even with a dog 👍🏼👍🏼 Mobile toilet houses were set up in places. At one point is a restaurant with a beer garden. Possibly take water shoes with you as the beach is rocky.

A beautiful circular hiking trail leads around the lake, with many benches inviting you to linger and “enjoy the landscape”. There is also a “history trail” along the path, which was created on the occasion of the “950th anniversary” in Happurg. There were only a few people walking today, but there is a lot going on here at the weekend.
