Eyewitnesses from a bygone era, which unfortunately prompts reflection once again today.

A beautiful and striking viewpoint perched atop a rock. On a clear day, you can enjoy a 360° view from the summit: to the north, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, to the south, the Mittelland and the Alps – in places, as far as Mont Blanc.

I don't know what the photos were taken under, but after the torrential rain during my hike, the waterfall was a raging torrent through the rocks! But it's also clearly visible from above.

Easy hike along a disused military road. The Hauenstein Fortifications were an important defensive line during the First World War from 1924 to 1918. The traces and relics of the defenses still visible today are to be preserved as a memorial.

Great viewpoint on the way to Belchenflue

Beautiful place. Benches and even a rest area with a barbecue nearby.
