The Stöhrhaus was the second mountain house built by the Berchtesgaden Alpine Club after the Kärlingerhaus. It was built between 1898 and 1901.[1] During the Second World War, the air guard occupied the house and left it in a catastrophic state after the end of the war.[2] In 1964, the Stöhrhaus was connected to the Bischofswiesen power grid.
