A wonderful little corner of the world, Gut Daudieck was a monastery estate in the Middle Ages, under the patronage of the Harsefeld Monastery. It served as a fish supplier for the monks. The larger ponds from that time are still cultivated today. Those visiting Gut Daudieck by bicycle should probably push their bikes, as the cobblestones from that era are still in place.
