The New Palace, which is well worth seeing, was built by Elector Max Emanuel in 1726 and is part of the Schleissheim Palace complex. It was the summer residence of the Electors and Kings of Bavaria from the House of Wittelsbach from 1726 to 1918. The palace complex is one of the most important baroque complexes in Germany.

Pay close attention to the signs! Otherwise you could lose track of some tricky parts of the route. Head north, past the picturesque Blutenburg to Allach. Would you rather go south? Then follow the river to Starnberg. From Gauting you can also choose a comfortable, family-friendly route via Gut Rieden. What makes the Würmtal cycle path so special? In the Pasing city park you can feel it - the real Munich attitude to life. Just follow the worm and you will constantly discover new things. Sometimes the magnificent Nymphenburg Palace, then the Botanical Garden and so much more. But be careful: when the weather is nice, there is a lot going on here. It's comfortable, but it can also become a game of patience if you want to cycle through. One more note, because it's important to me: Please always pay attention to the signs! Many paths are purely sidewalks. Then it's time to push your bike or use the parallel paths. They are usually just a stone's throw away and you are not only doing yourself a favor, but also pedestrians, children and four-legged friends. And because you can boast about your knowledge while cycling: the Würm is around 39.5 kilometers long and is the only outlet of Lake Starnberg. Some of the Würm water even reaches the Isar and Moosach via the northern Munich canal system.

A highlight in many ways - great photo opportunity, even from afar through the open meadow "Am Durchblick" - nice stop in front of the castle by the pond without consumption or inside in the café - is on the Würmradweg-Nord between Pasing and Allach-Untermenzing in a north-south direction - east-west direction the castle is at the western end of the green belt "Durchblick" to Nymphenburg Palace and to the east to Langwieder See Where Munich cyclists like to ride, including insider tips. - link to the map: https://t1p.de/radlvorrangnetz - app "MunichWays":

Without komoot, it's easy to miss the signs in some tricky parts of the route. From Pasing it goes beautifully north past the Blutenburg to Allach. It goes south to Starnberg. From Gauting there is an alternative, more family-friendly route via Gut Rieden: https://www.munichways.de/starnberg-routen/

Here you have to think on two levels. - above, the leisure route runs north-south along the Spiridon-Louis-Ring. Below - below, the bike priority route "Nordradweg (RT7)" along the Willi-Gebhard-Ufer https://www.munichways.de/nordradweg-rt7-radlvorrang-strecke/

A nice stop can be made at the Blutenburg, e.g. B. on a bike tour along the Würm or to Nymphenburg Palace www.munichways.de/Entdeckertour
