In the 12th century, the castle of the same name was built on a spur above present-day Bad Liebenzell. The castle consisted of several buildings and a thick curtain wall with an integrated keep. The dry moat now serves as a parking lot. The keep and curtain wall have been preserved and can be visited during opening hours. Today, the castle serves as a conference center and restaurant. From the keep, there is a far-reaching view over the surrounding valleys, which were monitored from the castle.

The viewing platform features several seating areas and replicas of historic cannons, as well as excellent views toward Bad Liebenzell. Several information panels are also located here. The climb from Bad Liebenzell is somewhat strenuous, as it involves a steep climb up several steps.

By far the best of the three castle ruins. It even has a small spiral staircase. Benches are set up on the ruins' plateau.

Well-restored castle that now functions as a youth leisure center for the Pforzheim Protestant Church. In addition to the self-catering kitchen, the leisure center offers 55 beds. Of these, 40 are in multi-bed rooms, ranging from double rooms to eight-bed rooms, as well as 15 beds in the dormitory.

The Kräheneck castle ruins, formerly also called Creinegg, are former fortifications from the 13th century. They are located in the forest of the Pforzheim district of Dillweißenstein. The Kräheneck ruins were built around 1250 as fortifications on the slope of the Weißenstein castle hill. The structure consisted of shield walls made of sandstone blocks, approximately 10 meters high. A wide ditch was built in front of them. It is assumed that the Kräheneck was built as an outwork to protect the Rabeneck castle below. As there are no documented references to its origins, it is estimated that it was built in the 13th or 14th century. The name Kräheneck is a popular name from the 19th century and cannot be verified by medieval documents. In 1928, an open-air stage was built in front of the shield wall for the "Kräheneck Castle Festival".

The Liebeneck castle ruins are the ruins of a high medieval spur castle, hilltop castle from the 11th to 12th centuries in the Hagenschiess forest area, southeast of the Würm district of Pforzheim. Currently closed due to restoration (as of October 17, 2023)
