シュトゥットガルトのゾリトゥーデ並木道は、1764年から1768年にヴュルテンベルク公カール・オイゲン公爵の命により建設された、全長13,032メートル（正確には40,118パリ・フィート）のまっすぐな歴史的な道路軸です。シュトゥットガルト西部のゾリトゥーデ宮殿とルートヴィヒスブルクのレジデンツ宮殿を直接結んでいます。今日、この歴史的な並木道は保護された文化財となっています。

Well-restored castle that now functions as a youth leisure center for the Pforzheim Protestant Church. In addition to the self-catering kitchen, the leisure center offers 55 beds. Of these, 40 are in multi-bed rooms, ranging from double rooms to eight-bed rooms, as well as 15 beds in the dormitory.

The castle was restored in 2009-2011 and houses the Dätzinger Local History Museum. In the castle courtyard there is a mighty sequoia tree and several small round fountains

The Solitude Allee, created in 1768 as a connecting axis between Solitude Palace and Ludwigsburg, served as the baseline for the Württemberg state survey from 1820 onwards. On May 25, 1818, King Wilhelm I issued a decree to the Ministry of Finance ordering the first land survey in the Kingdom of Württemberg. On September 18, 1820, the natural scientist Johann Gottlieb Friedrich von Bohnenberger, who was appointed to lead the undertaking, began measuring Solitude Allee in the presence of “His Majesty”, which he had chosen as the main base for triangulation because of its straightness. The starting point of the baseline was centrally located in Solitude Castle, where there is now a memorial plaque (see image)[2]. At the end point in front of what was then the city limits of Ludwigsburg, Bohnenberger had a wooden pyramid built from which one had the necessary view. At its former location, at the junction of Köhlstrasse and Solitude-Allee, there is now a memorial stone with the inscription “Württemberg State Survey 1820 – Solitude-Ludwigsburg base – length 13,032.14 m – end point in the street axis”.[3] The determined base length of 40,118.718 Parisian feet (1 Parisian foot = 0.32484 meters) was compared with the Bavarian baseline near Munich. What a great place. I visited the castle 🏰 for the first time as a Mammoth March participant 👉 steep climb, really great castle 🏰 and brilliant view of the city.
