Press release from May 22, 2024: This year, the Bärensee will remain without water. That was the case last year, but the city had promised that the lake would be refilled this spring. But now it's official: The lake will remain empty this year as well. The work on the dam and the outlet is more difficult than expected and is taking longer!

The Bärenschlössle and the surrounding area are worth a visit at any time of year. It is more pleasant there during the week, as there are a lot of visitors at the weekend. The daily lunch menu is available at the Bärenschlössle from 12.30 p.m. Good value for money. Very tasty food on offer. Large selection of cakes.

Everything is going great here, even though it's packed

Beautiful park/forest with old trees and places to rest or stop for refreshments.

Simply a great route, free of traffic only for hikers, cyclists and skaters.

A great destination at any time of year. Hiking trails lead here from all directions. Due to the high number of visitors on weekends and public holidays, you can visit during the week instead.

As of October 25, 2022: the Siebenmühlental is in the Musberg area (bus stop) to Alte Poststraße because of Road renewal closed until November 18, 2022.

If you can, you should stop by during the week. Completely overcrowded on the weekends when the weather is nice.
