Gigantic dimensions; a must-see

A truly remarkable little church in the village of Seester. Not only is the interior worth a visit, but the large bells in their wooden frames, placed separately next to the church building, are also impressive.

Here you can see the size of the chalk pit and the staircase-like steps from the mining.

Here, at the end of Heidestraße, is the viewing platform, which offers an excellent view of the "Schinkel" and "Heidestraße" chalk pits. Nearby, there's also a piece of mining equipment that you can take a close look at. There's even a grill set up here, which you can use for your next BBQ with a view of the pit.
