Nice trail, but not recommended for bikes with trailers!

Beautiful nature for cycling and hiking. Be considerate of pedestrians, it is quite narrow in places.

On the way to Husum-Eckernförde you pass this large lake.

This side of the Noor is easy to drive on. One avenue of trees after the other and the view of the Noor enrich your bike tour.

The circumnavigation of Windebyer Noor should only be undertaken if it has not rained for a long time. In the northern and west-facing part, the path is boggy and partly paved with small "wooden planks" with gaps in between. You can drive very close to the Noor. An absolutely recommendable experience 👍 .

Tip: Attention, the barbecue area and the little house are not for free use - you can rent them.

The Eckernförde Bay or Eckernförde Bay is a fjord of the Baltic Sea in Schleswig-Holstein. It lies between Danish Wohld in the south and Schwansen in the north. The Eckernförde Bay extends 17 kilometers deep into the country and is ten kilometers wide at its entrance, with Booknis-Eck (municipality of Waabs) and Dänisch-Nienhof (municipality of Schwedeneck) as endpoints. The bay is up to about 28.50 meters deep. Nice clean swimming area with a small sandy beach. There are bench seats and the parking lot is right next door.
