Koblenz Cable Car, also known as the Buga Cable Car or Rhine Cable Car The Koblenz Cable Car, also known as the Buga Cable Car or Rhine Cable Car, is an aerial cable car across the Rhine in Koblenz. At least on this Sunday the cable car was pretty crowded. Despite the fact that the cabins are every minute, it would have required a longer queue. Basically, the ride in the spacious gondolas with the view of the Rhine, Moselle and Koblenz seems very worthwhile.

The cable car was built as a very special attraction for Buga 2011 and connects the Rhine facilities with Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. In a 7-minute drive you float over the Rhine and have a magnificent panoramic view of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Whoever gets cabin 17 will get their money's worth, as it has a glass element in the floor! Dogs and bicycles can be taken on the gondola for a small fee. You shouldn't miss this experience...😉
