The Roman tower is located on the Pulverberg in Sayn-Bendorf and is part of the LIMES UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was reconstructed as a watchtower with palisades in 1912 by route commissioner Georg Loeschcke of the Reich Slim Commission. A monument was erected to him on the ascent path.
