At the saddle (place between two mountains) is this cross and the hut that is open on Sundays. There is also a children's playground and a hiking car park. Seating available. Wonderfully fresh spring water gushes out of a fountain at the Kreuzsattelhütte. Unfortunately no view!

Beautiful observation tower with a great view. Good food at reasonable prices. The rooms for overnight stays are also completely reasonable in price. Everything is clean.

The memory is part of the Black Forest event. The tower can be climbed for a small fee. Above you can see the Black Forest very nicely. This is where the planetary path begins, among other things.

The Brandenkopf - King of the Middle Black Forest. The 32 m high observation tower has a fantastic view (admission € 0.60). There is also a television tower on the summit, but it cannot be visited. At the foot of the observation tower, the Black Forest Association maintains a hiking home (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). It is also possible to drive to the summit by car, but this is not easy. Conclusion: a visit is definitely worth it

Very nicely located hut above the Osterbachtal with a great view. The hut is open on weekends (Schwarzwaldverein Wolfach). The overnight spot at the hut is always open and is also free of charge. A spring in the immediate vicinity. All in all, you have to give 5 stars here, chapeau. At the hut there are also benches for a short rest, which should definitely be made.

Resistance is futile, here we have to settle down again and dreamily gaze at the landscape and of course cuddle on the covered wellness lounger with checkered curtains, lovely shutters and flower boxes 🥰

I also recommend the Westweg variant over the Brandenkopf. I can also recommend the overnight stay and the catering in the Brandenkopfhütte. Eat delicious, sleep well, great care. 💪🙋🏻♂️
