You pass the rock when driving down from Haidel to Grainet. Here, you'll be rewarded with a truly magnificent view. On sunny days, you can see very far.

The stop here is at the "1000-Meter-Höhenstein." 100 meters below is the beautiful "Pater Rupert Mayer Chapel"—there's also a lovely table and a natural bench for a snack.

This is a beautiful little church in Leopoldsreuth. A view from the inside: small but impressive. You should definitely stop here and take a look inside. The old elementary school is right next door. The Haidel Tower is 1 km away on the path.

I think this is a nice side road that also leads to Haidel. The climb is a bit longer, but not steep.

The beautiful, quiet, chilled forest lake with a lovely natural bench is also on the way to the Haidel observation tower. The small forest lake is probably about 150 meters below the Haidel. So take another short break and then head up to the Haidel.

You'll find this sign on the main path to the Haidel observation tower. It's located about 100 meters from the Haidel, right next to the gravel road.
