The Faule See is located in the "Schwerin Lake District" nature reserve. The dammed lake, which is considered weakly polytrophic, covers 50 hectares, and its shoreline is 4,052 meters long. The lake's name was originally "Fuhler See." It probably comes from the word "Fula[n]," which means "foal" (young horse). Beautiful lake in the middle of Schwerin

A decent spot right on the water with a boat dock. Nice restaurant nearby. Accessible by bike, on foot, and by car.

The Fauler See is a beautiful little lake not far from the castle garden, next to it is also the Planetarium Schwerin

Nice, well-kept campsite, older sanitary facilities, clean, with a swimming area. Overnight stay for two people 25 EUR, that's OK. Electricity 6 EUR per day flat rate, shower 2 EUR for 3 minutes of hot water, I found that a bit expensive. Electricity self-supply solar module
