A great route on gravel, pebbles, and sand alongside the Soca River, with several opportunities to pause directly on the banks and enjoy a close encounter with the Soca. IMPORTANT: The route has been completely "cyclist-friendly" in recent months; many very difficult sections have been completely improved, some even paved with concrete. Riding a mountain bike is easier than riding a regular bike. The route from Bovec to Magozd is a great cycling route alongside the Soca River.

Between 1936 and 1938, Germany built an ossuary in memory of the fallen German soldiers of the 12th Isonzo Offensive ("Battle of Kobarid"), in which a total of 965 German soldiers are buried in a common grave. The stone blocks were imported from Germany. The wrought iron entrance gate to the courtyard is made of rifle barrels. The interior of the chapel is divided into two parts: in the first room, the names of the fallen are inscribed on oak panels; in the second, separated from the first by an ornately wrought iron grille, the names of the fallen are inscribed in mosaic on three lunettes. The building is oriented toward Kolovrat and Kobarid.
