The foresters have erected a memorial to their guild here that has stood the test of time (since 1916). It's worth stopping to linger and reflect. One of the few small attractions in Raffa.

Beautiful hunting lodge directly next to the artificial forest garden

Very very beautiful, you can also visit the Rafahaus, the former hunters' house, inside. Also suitable as a refuge in the event of sudden rain!

Artificial forest garden The artist group “Dünger”, founded in 2003 and consisting of the wood sculptor Stefan Preisl, the object artist Florian Zeitler, and the “Stuff” maker Andreas Hoffmann-Kuhnt, became known through the Bavarian “Art in the Forest” campaign run by the Bavarian Forestry Administration. Together with the Burglengenfeld Forestry Office, a sculpture park was created in this area of forest called “Raffa”, which is known as the Kunstwaldgarten beyond the borders of the city triangle and which attracts great attention from its visitors. You can see oversized wood and metal sculptures that blend bizarrely yet harmoniously into nature against the background of the forest. Wow. From the forest you look directly at such a great rock. With lean meadow. Hawks sneeze here. Really great to watch them fly. A bit slippery when it rains, but it works.
