In addition to the original court garden house, a small village of eight historic houses has grown over the years. Most of them were moved there from villages in the Westerwald over time and the small rural house was even reconstructed from scratch. Today, the Hachenburg Landscape Museum provides an insight into the cultural history of the Westerwald from the 18th to the 20th century.
