Excerpt from the Oberbuchberghof website: My name is Elisabeth, and I live with my family on the 300-year-old Oberbuchberghof farm in Gasse near Gmund, above Lake Tegernsee. The Tegernsee High Trail, with its beautiful views, passes right by. I often dreamed of a small café with a farm shop where I could sell my cakes, spreads, and special items, such as homemade schnapps from the Oberbuchberghof, cards, small gifts, and the like. This dream came true a few years ago, and I opened the farm shop, which, through creativity, warmth, and down-to-earthness, has become the place it is today. We bake many things according to old family recipes, and the baking ingredients come from our garden or the region. Enjoy our small selection of fresh, homemade cakes from Wednesday to Saturday. We are also happy to offer you a delicious fresh breakfast in the morning. You can also fortify yourself with a warm soup or a small snack with homemade bread before or after a hike.
