Mulde River Bridge with a bench, along the Luther Trail. Glauchau Reservoir and Mulde River Floodplain Nature Reserve. Information: The first bridge was made of wood and served until 1930. Around 1930, a lightly reinforced concrete bridge with a steel girder superstructure was built. During the 1954 flood, it partially collapsed. It was rebuilt and withstood the 2002 flood. However, it was severely damaged by the June 2013 flood. A new bridge was built in 2016/2017.

The Karl May Cave, also known as the Little Iron Cave, is located in the Waldenburg Upper Forest near Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Originally a mine tunnel dating back to 1620, it was later used as a shelter. In 1869, Karl May hid here when he was wanted for theft. Five years later, he mentioned the cave in his story "The Rose of Ernstthal." It was officially named after him in 1933. During the GDR era, it was closed to the public. Today, however, it can be easily visited again and serves as a reminder of the famous author.

The new, now barrier-free Cloud Castle suspension bridge was inaugurated on May 1, 2017. It replaces a narrower bridge that is not as high above the water, which was badly damaged during the 2013 flood. In addition to the Thierbach-Zinnberg suspension bridge, the bridge enables the Wolkenburg Mulderundweg and the hiking trail to the Hauboldfelsen from Wolkenburg Castle.
