The "monk" at the upper lake has been repaired and there is water there again 🌊❗️

This wooden bench is located on the reed-covered side of the lake. At the other end of the lake, there's a metal bench with an information board.

At the end of the lake there is a bench next to an information board with a view of the artificially created Seewäldle wetland.

The lake is a retention basin and a popular fishing water. It is surrounded by forest and offers a beautiful setting for walks and hikes. Although swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited, it is a popular place for those seeking relaxation.

The "Wetland at Seewäldle" is nestled between Bietigheim-Bissingen and Tamm. The small body of water is surrounded by dense riverbank vegetation with an adjacent meadow. In 2007, the biotope was re-established by the town of Bietigheim-Bissingen, which had been used for agriculture up until that point. No further measures were taken, such as filling the lake or planting flora.
