The Bleichsee is an artificial lake on a plateau near Löwenstein in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park, which takes its name from the bleaching of cloth that used to take place there. There is a circular path along the lake that invites you to take a quiet stroll, as do the benches. In early summer, water lilies even bloom in the Bleichsee, while in autumn the colorful autumn leaves are reflected on the surface, creating an Indian summer moment.
