Papirøen, officially called Christiansholm, is transforming from a former industrial area in Copenhagen's inner harbor into a vibrant new urban district. The newly developed island is centrally located opposite the Drama Theatre and the Opera House and is currently undergoing redevelopment: the old paper warehouses are being replaced by a mix of apartments, cultural venues, grocery stores, and recreational spaces. Denmark's most expensive apartment is also located here.

The Copenhagen Opera House is the national opera house of Denmark, and among the most modern opera houses in the world. It is also one of the most expensive opera houses ever built at a cost of 2.5 billion DKK, sponsored by Maersk and designed by world renowned Henning Larsen Architects. It is located on the island of Holmen in central Copenhagen.

The Tuborg Bottle is a 26 metres tall landmark shaped as a Tuborg bottle located close to Tuborg's former brewery site, now Tuborg Havn, Hellerup, in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen.
