Gemünden's Old Saale Bridge in its current form is at least 400 years old, and parts of it are certainly much older.

You don't have to like every picture. But I'm surprised that really good pictures that aptly capture the HL are "rewarded" with a thumbs down. Anyone who thinks they have to score points this way should be ashamed of themselves!

On the market square stands the sandstone monument of the Old Town Hall, which was blown up after the city was captured in April 1945. It was built under Prince-Bishop Julius Echter from 1585 to 1596. The ground plan is visibly incorporated into the pavement on the market square.
