Great family-friendly bike path from the Schweizerthal to Chemnitz and back. Our kids (5 and 4) have mastered it. Approx. 34 km there and back

Was rebuilt after the old bridge fell victim to the floods.

The area with the suspension bridge is a feast for the eyes and good rest stops with a great relaxation factor.

This place with a small snack is in my opinion the most beautiful part of the Chemnitztalradweg !! 😄

Also suitable for skaters or children. Refreshments are not really available. In Markersbach at the museum train station you can fortify yourself with a snack with the usual snacks such as fries, sausages etc. Or you can take a picnic and blanket with you, just sit down in a nice spot and enjoy nature.
