The Sauerlandring is simply superbly developed in this area. Slight gradients and ascents on fine asphalt. Very easy to drive and always beautiful views.

Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful sections of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. It invites you to simply dismount, sit by the Ruhr and let your thoughts wander. It is also a good place to take a break.
