It's worth taking a look through the gate. Unfortunately, entering is not desired, as there is a school here. There are probably open days where a visit is possible.

The Geist house is very idyllic and well-maintained, surrounded by water.

Looks like Harry's castle, especially at dusk. The light is on and you can see people in the rooms in the time before Corona. Great insight into other people's lives through the windows.

No, unfortunately no rest stops. But a little further into the Geisterholz there is the Landhaus "Zum Geisterholz" with beer garden.
