An inconspicuous place, but here is the center of the city, of the whole country even if you take it historically very precisely. In the 19th century, Prussian officials designated the Rauenberg hill near Berlin as the starting point for calculating geographic coordinates throughout the empire. Even today, the German capital network is based on it.
