Together with the waterfall, the Stadtner Mühle is a worthwhile excursion destination. In summer you can watch the grain being ground.

Great waterfall seen from the old mill. But if you want to take the climb to the viewing platform, you can expect an even more impressive view of the cascading water masses.

After a bit of a steep climb you have a wonderful view of the icefall from the platform. Unfortunately, when I visited, the sun was shining directly over the edge of the waterfall and was massively blinding. So, plan the right time of day.

The Stadtner Mühle was not always located at the waterfall in Maria Hilf. It used to stand in the Maria Hilf district of Pötsch and was reinstalled a few years ago by the waterfall in Maria Hilf. The "Stadtner Mühle" owes its name to the locals, because they also call the district of Maria Hilf "Stadt".
