The residential area of Durlesbach is known from the folk song "Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahne". The station was opened in 1849 and has been closed since 1984. It was originally the station of Bad Waldsee outside the town, and a road was built specifically for it. It is probably named after the Durlesbach river that flows nearby. On a siding, the event described in the folk song is illustrated with bronze figures using a real steam locomotive and two railway carriages: a farmer ties a billy goat to the train and is watched by the conductor and the farmer's wife.
