Chapel on the Ortenberg

Great route, but not entirely safe depending on the traffic.

Beautiful little church, but the extension in front of it, with its colorful windows, doesn't quite blend in.

Great surface, beautiful area and always close to the Danube

Always these cyclists, they're never satisfied! 😂 Those who hang up those small, green and white signs never ride bikes, especially not in the dark. The non-reflective signs, which are also hung "anywhere," are impossible to find in the dark.

really great path: but just before Fridingen a new bridge is being built (as of October 20, 2024) - then it goes up a few meters on a gravel path through the forest (and back down to Fridingen to the train station). Unfortunately, on the 4 km before that there are no signs that you can't get through with a racing bike or that you can only get through on gravel. Why can't you put up a short sign before the last junction?

At Palmbühl on the Schömberg reservoir there is a free e-bike charging station with 3 sockets, marked but somewhat hidden.
