The Aistersheim moated castle is one of the most beautiful in Upper Austria. The entire castle stands on a myriad of wooden pilots and is completely surrounded by water. The moated castle of Würting was first mentioned in documents as early as 814 as a Romanesque farm, and is therefore the first documented reference to the community of Offenhausen.
