Perfect for a quick rest; the railway line from Heiligenstadt to Göttingen, or vice versa, is right next door. The Leine River also winds its way along the cycle path, crossing it occasionally via small bridges.

July 2025: The cycle path is open again, except for the concrete bridge over the Wendebach stream. It's barricaded and difficult to bypass except via the main road.
